gentle practices...emotional freedom techniquesBased on the principles of acupuncture and sometimes referred to as Tapping, EFT is now widely used by the NHS and is making its way into schools. Unlike acupuncture, EFT is safe and easy for children and adults to learn and can be an effective self-help tool, as well as a powerful therapeutic modality. Its power lies in its simplicity.
reikiHands-on-healing is one of the oldest forms of treatments. Usui Reiki is a Japanese system originally intended for self-development and which later evolved into a therapy. There is nothing mysterious about Reiki, it is simply the passing of a healing energy, also called chi or life-force, from one to another. It is a natural and gentle way to promote wellbeing. Anyone can learn to use this energy for themselves, others or even pets.
How can they help you?Energy practices have the potential to support your wellbeing in a variety of ways. They can be used as a therapeutic technique with the guidance of a trained practitioner or taught as a self-help tool. I have utilised these practices for a wide range of physical symptoms, emotional problems, and to make positive life changes.
